7 Makara Palace, 06 February 2026, Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the Cambodian People's Party, presided over a summit involving the three parties of Cambodia, Vietnam, and Laos. His Excellency To Lam, Secretary General of the Communist Party of Vietnam, and His Excellency Thongloun Sisoulith, Secretary General of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, were in attendance.

7 Makara Palace, February 7, 2026: Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the Cambodian People's Party, and His Excellency Thongloun Sisoulith, Secretary General of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, conveyed their contentment with the peaceful, amicable, and cooperative border. To date, the two nations have agreed to demarcate approximately 86% of the border, which both parties and governments have committed to negotiating and resolving through peaceful means.

Solidarity Palace, February 2, 2026: Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate, welcomed His Excellency Syed Yusuf Raza Gillani, President of the Senate of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The meeting aimed to foster closer friendship, strengthen bilateral relations, and enhance parliamentary cooperation between the two nations. It also served to advance Cambodia's parliamentary diplomacy agenda, with a focus on maintaining peace and sustainable development regionally and globally through dialogue and international cooperation.

On January 6, 2026, Samdech Techo Hun Sen, the President of the Senate, visited the construction site of the new Senate Palace to observe its progress. The foundation stone for this new building was laid on August 9, 2024. The structure will be four stories tall, with dimensions of 79 meters by 47 meters. It is anticipated that the completion and inauguration of this palace will occur in the near future, under the esteemed presidency of His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni, King of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
