
Dili, 08 May 2025: In a meeting with His Excellency José Ramos-Horta, President of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate, expressed his hope that the two countries would jointly expand their bilateral diplomatic relations, which have been officially established for over two and a half decades.

In Jakarta on May 5, 2025, during a meeting with His Excellency Prabowo Subianto, President of the Republic of Indonesia, Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate, emphasized the need for further strengthening cooperation between the two nations in economic, trade, tourism, and aviation exchanges.

Vietnam, April 29, 2025: Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate, affirmed to His Excellency To Lem, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the necessity of strengthening traditional relations and enhancing solidarity, mutual understanding, and cooperation for continued bilateral growth, particularly between the Cambodian People's Party and the Communist Party of Vietnam.

PHAM Minh Chinh, Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate, emphasized the evolving nature of the relationship between Cambodia and Vietnam. He stated that while they had previously relied on each other through military assistance, they now collaborate through economic means, particularly through trade. Samdech Techo Hun Sen highlighted Cambodia’s expertise in cashew nut production, noting that it holds the global record for cashew nut production, while Vietnam excels in processing cashew nuts for export.

11 February 25: Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate, officiated the inauguration of a school building and the unveiling of achievements at Wat Preah Indra Samaki Thom, located in Trapeang Krapeu village, Kraing Makak commune, Ang Snoul district, Kandal province.

On February 10th, at 7 Makara Palace, Senate President Samdech Techo Hun Sen welcomed Professor Tetsuya Watanabe, President of the ASEAN and East Asia Economic Research Institute (ERIA). He highlighted the shared cultural heritage among ASEAN member states as a catalyst for intra-ASEAN trade and trade expansion with external partners facilitated by the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP).
