
On November 10, 2025, at 7 Makara Palace, during a meeting with His Excellency TAKAHASHI Fumiaki, President of the Japan-Cambodia Association, Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate, conveyed his satisfaction with the association's advancements. The association has diligently worked to enhance vocational training for Cambodians, particularly the youth, addressing a critical need within both the Cambodian and Japanese contexts, while also contributing to the promotion of key economic sectors.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate, accompanied His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni, King of Cambodia, to preside over the 72nd anniversary of National Independence Day on November 9 at the Independence Monument in Phnom Penh.

During a meeting at the Senate Palace on October 31, 2025, with Tan Sri Michael Yeoh, President of the KSI Strategic Institute for the Asia-Pacific Region, Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate, articulated Phnom Penh's keen interest in electric vehicle adoption. This initiative is integral to the city's efforts to mitigate toxic emissions, foster a healthier environment, and combat climate change.

On October 27, 2025, Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate, presided over a meeting of the Senate Standing Committee to (1) review and decide on the proposal of the Special Committee regarding the proposed law on amending the Law on the Election of Senators and (2) address other matters.

On October 20, 2025, at 7 Makara Palace, Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the Cambodian People’s Party, held a meeting with the Cambodian People’s Party working group in Oregon, led by Mr. Seng Sam-on. The purpose of the meeting was to present some political situations to the activists, particularly those residing abroad, to help them gain a better understanding of the current situation in Cambodia and witness the progress of the country’s development.

On October 14, 2025, at the Senate Palace, Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate, received His Excellency Dato Seri’ Ahmad Zahid bin Hamidi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Regional and Rural Development of the Federation of Malaysia. In his address, Samdech Techo expressed his gratitude for Malaysia’s previous support in purchasing rice and being the first country to import the most rice from Cambodia, reaching up to 70,000 tons in 2024. He also expressed his hope for further assistance in purchasing additional agricultural products from Cambodia.

Senate Palace, October 13, 2025: Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate, conveyed to His Excellency TANAKA Akihiko, President of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), that “Cambodia’s progress, encompassing its contributions to peace, is inextricably linked to Japan’s role.”

On October 10, 2025, at the Senate Palace, Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Acting Head of State, received His Excellency Dr. Roosevelt Skerrit, Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Dominica. He emphasized the importance of expanding the friendship between Cambodia and the Commonwealth of Dominica through economic and trade sectors. By doing so, they can enhance the relationship between the state and its people and foster cooperation between political parties, which can then drive progress in other sectors.

Senate Palace, October 2, 2025: During a meeting with the Malaysian Federal Senate delegation, led by H.E. Datuk Wira Dr. Mohd Hatta bin Md Ramli, Acting Head of State Samdech Techo Hun Sen emphasized Cambodia's commitment to upholding the ceasefire and re-establishing the historical normalcy between Cambodia and Thailand. He expressed gratitude to Malaysia, particularly H.E. Anwa Ibrahim, for their decisive and timely efforts in facilitating the resolution of the Cambodian-Thai border dispute.
