
During a farewell meeting held at the Senate Palace on July 10, 2025, with His Excellency Jacques PELLET, Ambassador of the French Republic, Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate, addressed Cambodia's approach to peacefully resolving border issues via bilateral channels and the International Court of Justice. Furthermore, he reiterated the request for the French side to furnish documentation pertaining to the Cambodia-Siam border, as previously discussed with His Excellency President Macron.

Kampong Cham, July 9, 2025: Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate, joined His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni, King of the Kingdom of Cambodia, in presiding over the royal ceremony commemorating "July 9th Arbor Day".

On July 7, 2025, at the Senate Palace, Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate, received His Excellency Pabitra Margherita, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of India. He recalled that India was the first democratic country to recognize Cambodia in 1981. During that time, India provided various assistance to Cambodia, including food, when Cambodia faced shortages. Later, India also helped develop Cambodia’s human resources by providing training courses and sending technicians to assist in repairing temples.

Oddar Meanchey, June 26, 2025: On the occasion of the meeting with the commanders of the 2nd and 3rd divisions, Samdech Techo 5-star General Hun Sen accepted the commanders' request to serve as the senior general for the armed forces, offering assistance to the army, particularly in ensuring the provision of supplies to the forces in combat readiness with the enemy. Consequently, he encouraged all armed forces to have no fear of the aggressor.

On June 19, 2025, at the Senate Palace, Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate, met with His Excellency Dato SRI Tiong King Sing, Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture of Malaysia. During the meeting, Samdech Techo Hun Sen expressed his desire to expand direct flights from Malaysia to other destinations in Cambodia, beyond the current flights to Phnom Penh. He specifically mentioned the potential for flights to Siem Reap and Sihanoukville to further expand the tourism sector.

On June 19, 2025, at the Senate Palace, during a meeting with His Excellency Faiyaz Murshid Kazi, Ambassador of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate, encouraged increased Bangladeshi investment and expanded economic and trade activities to strengthen bilateral relations.

Phnom Penh, June 9, 2025: Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate, paid tribute to the late HE Professor Mom Chimhuy, Advisor to the President of the Senate and former member of the Royal Government, National Assembly, and Senate.

On June 4, 2025, at the 7 Makara Palace, President of the Senate Samdech Techo Hun Sen met with a delegation from the Cambodian National Council for Women, led by Her Excellency Dr. Ung Kanthaphavy. He expressed his belief that within the next two to three decades, Cambodian women's influence and leadership in national and family development will significantly grow.

Phnom Penh, May 30, 2025: During a meeting with all 29 political parties in Cambodia, Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate, gave a clear opinion on the border issue - “we must prevent (extremism in) nationalism or incitement to racial discrimination and conflict with neighboring countries […] As long as extremist politics exists, Cambodia remains at risk.
