Cambodia is going to welcome the visit of the United Kingdom’s special envoy this month, said Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen while presiding over a graduation ceremony of the Royal University of Law and Economics this morning.
The UK special envoy will discuss with the Cambodian side about the bilateral trade between the two nations, he underlined.
Under the EU trade framework, Cambodia exported goods to the UK with a total value of about US$882 million, and Cambodia is expected to maintain or increase this amount after the Brexit, the Cambodian premier added.
At the same time, Samdech Techo Hun Sen said Cambodia has been seeking more markets, especially those in the Middle East for her Halal food.
