On 22 June 2016, on his Facebook page, Samdech Techo Hun Sen wrote that though an apology has been made publicly for violating traffic rule for not wearing a helmet while riding motorbike, Samdech has been expecting a fine. Samdech affirmed that immunity stipulated in the Constitution and other laws related, there is no article that allows member(s) of the National Assembly or Prime Minister not to get fined by traffic police for riding without a helmet, and a motorbike without vehicle registration plate. Beside paying penalty for riding without a helmet, Samdech Techo said he also paid the penalty for the bike’s owner who has not had a number registration plate for his bike. Samdech Techo praised traffic police of the district of Sre Ambel, Koh Kong province, for their strict and exemplary law enforcement action./.
