Samdech Techo Calls for Apology from Opposition Party Leader

While being on an official visit to France from 25 through to 27 October, speaking to over 1,000 Cambodian people and students in Paris, Samdech Techo Hun Sen demanded a public apology from Sam Rainsy, President of the Cambodia National Rescue Party (CNRP). Not long ago, in an interview granted to French media, the opposition leader likened Samdech Techo to Gaddafi of Libya. Samdech Techo Hun Sen took the chance to brief the meeting of the dishonest idea and plan of the opposition party against the legal Royal Government, while making a point that the opposition leader must apologize to him publicly if he wants the political relation to return to normal. Samdech Techo expressed his regret that the opposition party always creates unfavorable situation, which affects national dignity and interests.
