Prime Minister Hun Sen of Cambodia will pay an official visit to Nepal in late 2018 and will sign a number of agreements and Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with his counterpart Khadga Prasad Shama Oli, agreed upon in New York on 28 September 2018.
The two Prime Ministers will issue joint statement of visit; sign agreement on diplomatic and official passport exemption, agreement on investment protection, memorandum of political consultation between both foreign affairs ministries, and the agreement on strengthening political, economic, and social relations of the two countries.
Strongman of Cambodia will also visit Buddhist pilgrimage site in Nepal.
In the meeting, Prime Minister of Nepal conveyed his congratulations to Prime Minister Hun Sen on the overwhelming support in July’s election and political stability that Cambodia enjoys.
In response, premier Hun Sen thanked Nepal for sending observers to observe Cambodian electoral process and commending Cambodia’s election free, fair, and just.
