Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen will receive the 405 outstanding high school students who got grade “A” in their examinations on Aug. 22-23, 2016.
In a Facebook post this morning, Samdech Techo Hun Sen expressed his congratulations to all the students who passed their high school exams, adding that he will meet with the grade A students at the Peace Palace, Phnom Penh onSept. 21, at 8:30 am.
The premier also voiced his regret for those who failed the exams, and encouraged them to study harder for next year’s exams.
A total of 55,753 out of 89,661 of high school students who were present during the exam sessions, or 62. 18 percent, obtained their baccalaureate.
Among these successful students, 405 got grade A; 2,801 grade B; 5,595 grade C; 8,835 grade D; and 38,117 grade E.
Last year, around 46,560 out of 83,325 high school students or 55.88 percent passed their examinations, of them 108 got grade A.
