Cambodia’s Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen has expressed his delight to see the progress in former battlefields.
According to his official Facebook page, Samdech Techo Hun Sen is currently in Malay district of Banteay Meanchey province. On his way to Pailin province, he will travel across Kamrieng, Sampov Loun and Phnom Prek districts of Battambang province, on National Road 59.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen said that these are the areas where he and his colleagues exchanged their lives for peace after the United Nations Transitional Authority in Cambodia (UNTAC) left Cambodia.
“The objective of transforming former battlefields into markets and development areas under the Win Win policy has been becoming a reality,” underlined the Cambodian premier.
Prime Minister Hun Sen also thanked all his compatriots for having supported the Win Win policy and for having joined him in maintaining peace and development.
