Direct Access to Angkor Front Terrace Not Allowed for All Vehicles

On 3 May 2016, written on Facebook, Samdech Techo Hun Sen declared that direct access to front terrace of Angkor will not be granted to all sorts of vehicles to improve traffic circulation, safety for tourists and orderliness. Samdech Techo also added that only tourists arriving on foot and/or bicycles will be allowed to go straight in. Also, special access will be granted for emergency vehicles and fire engines. Samdech Techo Hun Sen called for joining efforts for better traffic circulation in front of the temple of Angkor to raise high prestige of the world famous cultural heritage./.
