The Heads of the Governments of Cambodia, Lao PDR, and Vietnam expressed their commitments to continued carrying out the Revised Master Plan for Socio-economic Development of the CLV DTA for 2010-2020 at the 9th Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam (CLV) Summit on Development Triangle Area (DTA), held yesterday afternoon in Siem Reap provincial city.
According to the Ministry of Commerce’s news release, Cambodia’s Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Laos’ Prime Minister H.E. Thongloun Sisoulith, and Vietnamese Prime Minister H.E. Nguyen Xuan Phuc were also determined to implement the Cross-Border Transport Facilitation Agreement (CBTA), a flagship initiative under the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) Economic Cooperation Programme to promote transport and trade facilitation.
Moreover, the three premiers welcomed the assistance from Japan and other development partners for the development of CLV DTA and supported the inclusion of youth forum programme, trade and tourism fairs on the agenda of the 10th CLV Summit, as well as the 15 prioritised projects proposed by the three countries for joint implementation in the future.
