Cambodia’s Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen has sent a congratulatory letter to the Honorable Donald Trump, President-elect of the U.S, according to the letter made public by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
“On behalf of the Royal Government and people of Cambodia, I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to Your Excellency on the occasion of your election as President of the United States of America. Please accept my best wishes for your success as you prepare to take on the responsibilities of your noble mission,” wrote the Cambodian premier in his letter dated Nov. 9.
“I have no doubt that the trust placed in Your Excellency by the citizens of the United States of America will inspire you to make all efforts in promoting peace, stability, development, security and prosperity around the world,” he added.
“I avail myself of this solemn occasion to assure Your Excellency that the Kingdom of Cambodia and its people remain committed to join efforts with the government and the people of America to further promote the friendly relations between our countries in all areas of mutual interest, both at bilateral and multilateral levels”, he underlined.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen looks forward to working closely with H.E. Donald Trump not only to develop closer relations between the two nations but also to enhance the great cause of peace, stability and prosperity of all peoples.
