Cambodia’s Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen has congratulated H.E. Donald Trump on his victory at the U.S. presidential election on Nov. 8, 2016.
“I would like to congratulate H.E. Donald Trump for achieving victory in U.S. presidential election,” wrote the Cambodian premier in a Facebook post. “Several days ago I have publicly support your candidature, till several individuals have come out to criticise me and referring to you, Mr. Donald Trump as a dictator to have endorsement coming from a leader like myself.”
At this moment, the American voters have shown their choice to elect Your Excellency the same way as my support for your candidacy is not wrong either, he added.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen has expressed his personal support to the candidacy of H.E. Donald Trump twice, on Nov. 3 and then on Nov. 7, at different public events.
While giving a lecture at the Police Academy of Cambodia under the topic “Forces Command, National-International Situation, and Other Issues” in Kandal province, Samdech Techo Hun Sen said if Donald Trump wins the U.S. election, the world situation will be better and without war because Trump is a businessman.
