Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen received here this morning at the Peace Palace outgoing Japanese Ambassador to Cambodia H.E. Yuji Kumamaru.
According to H.E. Kao Kim Hourn, Delegate Minister Attached to the Prime Minister, in the meeting, Samdech Techo Hun Sen expressed his appreciation to the fruitful cooperation under the comprehensive strategic cooperation between Cambodia and Japan, including the recent launch of direct flight, investment, and so on.
The Cambodian premier hoped that investment and tourism between the two nations will be further improved with the direct flight launched early this month.
For his part, H.E. Yuji Kumamaru thanked the Royal Government of Cambodia for its support to his diplomatic mission and the Japanese investments in Cambodia.
The outgoing Japanese diplomat took the opportunity to invite Samdech Techo Hun Sen to attend a forum on the future of Asia to take place next year in Japan.
In response to this invitation, Samdech Techo Hun Sen said he will check his available time, and informed H.E. Yuji Kumamaru of the World Economic Forum on ASEAN to be hosted by Cambodia in 2017.
