Samdech Techo Hun Sen and Samdech Kitti Pritbandit Bun Rany Hun Sen, together with family members, celebrated the 4th day of Kan Ben Festival at Langka Pagoda, Phnom Penh. Kan Ben is part of “Pchum Ben” or the Festival for the Dead, one of the biggest religious festivals in Cambodia that lasts in all fifteen days. “Pchum Ben” is the last and biggest day of Kan Ben. The 15-day Kan Ben Festival this year begins on 28 September 2015 through to October 12. As usual, Cambodian people go to pagodas to offer foodstuff and alms to the monks believing that the monks will then convey their alms and offering to their late ancestors.
