Disgracing Local Educational Value – A Grave Insult to Educational Institutions and Students

On 19 October 2015, in the course of presiding over the graduation and diploma presenting ceremony of the Western University, responding to remarks of politicians, who undervalued local education and diplomas, Samdech Techo argues such message discredits not only those who have made efforts in realizing their studies but also parents or spouses who make every efforts for their course.Ridiculously, while dishonoring local education value, he notes, they also discredit those people who have voted or been working for them. Samdech Techo makes a point that it is a grave insult on the Cambodian education institutions and former students, who continued and completed their education after 1979. Samdech Techo urges people to think thoroughly on such political message and to reconsider their futures whether they continue their beliefs and/or vote for the ones who disgrace their educational efforts and achievement.
