Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen said that the opposition group lied to the public three times following Cambodia’s 6th mandate election, addressing to more than 6,700 workers in Kandal province on 31 October 2018.
“They said I am prohibited to enter U.S; that Cambodia’s seat at the United Nations would be suspended, and that I was not allowed to participate in the UNGA,” said the premier.
“The U.S security provides full protection to Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen. U.S did fulfill their obligations to protect leaders attending the General Assembly,” he added.
The premier taunted the opposition for always trying to mislead the public, but unsuccessful, and that the number of people demonstrating against himself oversea was less compared to the number of his supporters.
He also underlined that overseas mission is significantly important for the leaders to fulfill their duties for national cause.
