Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, received here last Saturday at the Peace Palace visiting Secretary-General of La Francophonie H.E. Ms. Michaëlle Jean.
H.E. Eang Sophalleth, Assistant to the Cambodian premier, told reporters after the courtesy meeting that H.E. Ms. Michaëlle Jean highly valued the fast and strong development in Cambodia compared to her last visit in 2014, and would like thus to learn about the factors for economic growth and peace maintenance in Cambodia.
For his part, Samdech Techo Hun Sen briefed his guest on the country’s experience in maintaining economic growth and peace, and encouraged all the members of the International Organisation of La Francophonie to continue working together with solidarity and minimising the development gaps among them.
